Sarcos_Logo.png

As an undisputed industry leader in dexterous robotic systems, Sarcos is creating technology to empower people. We don’t replace human productivity, we enhance it, by making you stronger, keeping you safer, and getting you to places you couldn’t otherwise go. We’ve been at the vanguard of the science for over 30 years, but always with a practical focus, and a quest to augment what we all are capable of on a personal level. We don’t just build robots, we build new possibilities for real people who put it out there every day to get the job done.

BoardWalk_Logo.png

Boardwalk Robotics is proud to support Dynamic Walking 2023! Boardwalk is composed of passionate robotics engineers who have spent most of their lives dedicated to conquering physics, in an effort to develop robust and flexible robotic platforms that will hopefully one day do something incredible. To date, the laws of the universe (mostly gravity and heat) are proving to be difficult opponents, but through determination and stubbornness, the research will continue. If you want to learn more, please contact us: Brandon Shrewsbury (brandon.shrewsbury@boardwalkrobotics.com) or Robert Griffin (rgriffin@ihmc.org). We are attending this year with many other engineers who are working on our hydraulic humanoid Nadia, both from IHMC and Boardwalk Robotics and would love to discuss and share anything we can so please reach out during the conference!

Figure_Logo_combined.png

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing autonomous general purpose humanoid robots. Figure 01, the company's first humanoid robot, is designed for initial deployment into the workforce to address labor shortages, jobs that are undesirable or unsafe, and to support supply chain on a global scale. Figure is a team of 50 employees based in Sunnyvale, California. For more information about Figure, visit www.figure.ai.

PAL_logo.png

Since 2004, we have developed state-of-the-art robots specially designed to solve our customers' needs. Today we are known for our humanoid robots TALOS, TIAGo, ARI and REEM-C as well as our retail and intralogistics solutions, TIAGo Base, TIAGo OMNI Base, and StockBot. We also offer the SOLO 12 platform in collaboration with the Open Dynamic Robot initiative, and are currently developing the biped robot Kangaroo.

Our mission is to enhance people’s quality of life through service robotics and automation technologies. We design and manufacture highly integrated and reliable solutions for service industries and research institutions worldwide.

We have sold our robotic platforms in more than 35 countries and all platforms are designed and manufactured in Europe. PAL Robotics is one of the founding members of the EU Robotics Association, and we have partnered in over 40 collaborative projects.

1X_Logo.png

1X Technologies, previously Halodi Robotics, is an engineering and humanoid robotics company producing androids capable of human-like movements and behaviors. The company was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Norway, with over 60 employees globally. 1X’s mission is to design androids that work alongside people, to meet the world’s labor demand and build an abundant society. Our mission is to solve the most important and fundamental challenges in AI and Robotics to enable future generations of intelligent machines that will help us all live better lives.

Robotics has come a long way in the past 40 years, but we still have a long way to go.

We need to make robots smarter, more agile, and dexterous, and generally easier to use — more like people. Once we do that, robots and other types of intelligent systems will increase productivity, free people from dangerous work, care for people with disabilities, and generally help us live better lives. We, at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute, want to accelerate that future, creating future generations of robots that are far better than anything that exists today. To achieve that goal, we are hiring the best talent we can find and supporting them with the best resources, including equipment, facilities, computing, and staff, all wrapped in a culture that thrives on technical fearlessness, fundamental thinking, cooperative teamwork, respect for each other, and technical fun.

If you have mad skills in robotics, machine learning, computing, software, or hardware engineering and want to make a difference in the future of AI and robotics, consider joining us on what I expect to be an important and gratifying journey. https://theaiinstitute.com/
